In return, the governor’s men would leave the Bábís alone and any Bábís who committed offenses would be dealt with by Hujjat. The governor was able to inform Tihrán that a reconciliation had been affected. Hujjat for a time prayed and preached in his own house. However, when a Bábí was attacked in his home after having been overheard criticizing the clergy, the Bábís came to Hujjat and complained that his inactivity was encouraging their enemies. Hujjat returned to leading prayers and preaching in his mosque. 28_ACT14
