      • The two brothers from Kand, Mullá Mihdí, and Mullá Báqír. Bahá’u’llah testifies to their considerable learning and attainments in the Kitáb-i-Íqán. 48_ACT10 Mullá Mihdí had been a close companion of Bahá’u’lláh and a tutor of the children of His household. He was the person who brought the sealed letter and gifts from Bahá’u’lláh to the Báb, when the Báb was just outside Tihrán at the village of Kulayn [DB 10-12, Section 4]. It was this same Mullá Mihdí that the Prince’s messenger to the fort tried to convince, as a friend, to leave the fort [DB 19-20 Part A, Section 6] 49_ACT10

      #154 – #160 Companions from Zanján

      These companions included 50_ACT10 :
      • Siyyid Kazim who had attained the presence of the Báb in Shíráz and was the only person to accompany Him when the Báb left Shíráz and went to Isfáhán. 51_ACT10 Siyyid Kazim was a noted merchant in Zanján. His brother, Siyyid Murtadá, who was not at Tabarsí, will be martyred as one of the Seven Martyrs of Tihrán [DB 21, Section 8]. [#154]
      • Iskandar, who together with Hasan and Qulí of Khurásán carried the mortally wounded Mullá Husayn back to the fort. [#155]
