      [DB 4-7, Section 1]. Later, these two brothers were part of the group that had gone to Karbalá’ to wait for the Báb, but then returned to Isfáhán and met Mullá Husayn on the way. Soon thereafter they went to Shíráz and met the Báb [DB 8-9, Section 3]. These meetings confirmed their faith and love for the Báb. During this time, we assume that the elder brother [Ibráhím] learned about and accepted the Báb and His Message from the younger brothers.

      The elder Nahrí brother [Ibráhím] was a very successful merchant. He was also a friend of the Imám-Jum’ih and managed the Imám-Jum’ih’s business and financials. Before the events that led to the Báb being transferred from the Imám-Jum’ih’s residence to the Mu’tamid’s, Ibráhím invited the Báb to his house for a banquet. 

      At this dinner, Ibráhím’s two sons, Muhammad-Hasan and Muhammad-Husayn [who were nine and eleven years old at the time] acted as two of the servers. Nabíl notes 51ACT5 the Báb paid special attention to these two young boys, who in later years would grow up and be martyred, and be given the titles of King of Martyrs and Beloved of Martyrs by Bahá’u’lláh. At this dinner, one other event of significance occurred. The younger brother, Muhammad-Alí, had been trying to have children but had not been successful. At the banquet, the older brother, Ibráhím, who was the main host, decided to request the Báb to grant this wish. He said to the Báb:
