After a march of two days from the village of Qumrúd, they arrived at the fortress of Kinár-Gird
, which lies quite close to Tihrán. They were planning to spend the night in the neighborhood of this fortress and reach the capital [Tihrán] the next day. It was the afternoon of the eighth day after Naw-Rùz and six days since the Báb had left Káshán.93ACT5. Suddenly, a messenger arrived from Tihrán, bearing a written order from the Grand Vazír [Hájí Mírzá Áqásí
] to Muhammad Big, instructing him to take the Báb to the village of Kulayn
      and there await further instructions.
The group arrived in Kulayn and a special tent was set up for the Báb. It was now the ninth day after Naw-Rúz [March 29, 1847]. 94ACT5 The Báb and His escort stayed in Kulayn for about two weeks. 95ACT5
