      While studying in Mashhad, Mullá Husayn had learned about Siyyid Kázim and joined a group of students of the Shaykhi teachings. Upon completion of his religious studies, Mullá Husayn wanted to go to Karbalá’ to become one of Siyyid Kázim’s students, but he had to return to Bushrúyih because of the death of his father. He was now the eldest male of the household and therefore responsible for his mother and other siblings, some of whom were quite young. But he did not remain there long, and after a dream of the Prophet Muhammad, set out for Karbalá’ moving the whole household with him. He arrived there in 1835 and became Siyyid Kázim’s student.
