Eventually His uncle had no choice but to take the Báb out of school, and to associate Him in the uncles’ family merchant business. It was a trading business, which was based in Shíráz and Yazd, and traded between the Persian coastal cities of Búshihr and Bandar-‘Abbás and other ports in the Persian Gulf, the Arabian Sea, India and North Africa. Records show that the trading involved agricultural and food exports in exchange for imports of fabrics, tea, sugar and spices. 78ACT2
