      They are dispersed from Shíráz

As time passed, the presence and teaching work of Mullá Husayn and the other Bábís in Shíráz caused concern in the ignorant fanatical population of the city. And as always, the power-hungry clergy felt threatened and therefore rose up against the Bábís in general and Mullá Husayn in particular. The situation became menacing, so the Báb instructed Mullá Husayn to go back to his native province of Khurásán through the city of Yazd. After this separation, Mullá Husayn will meet the Báb only once more 48ACT4 before Mullá Husayn’s martyrdom at Fort Shaykh Tabarsí. 49ACT4

The Báb also dismissed the rest of the Bábís who had come to Shíráz and sent them back mainly to Isfáhán. He only retained Mullá ‘Abdu’l-Karím and Shaykh Hasan-i-Zunúzí as His amanuenses [they were assigned the duty of transcribing His Writings]. It is now summer of 1846.
