The precautionary measures the Báb undertook to send away His followers who had come to Shíráz, relieved Him from the immediate danger of violence from the fanatics of that city. At the same time, it lent a fresh impetus to the propagation of His Faith already ongoing through the Letters of the Living who had, by this time, spread through much of the country.
