Ardistán – Mullá ‘Alí-Akbar-i-Ardistání
Mullá ‘Alí-Akbar-i-Ardistání had been a student of Mulla Sádiq-i-Khurásání in Isfahán, when Mullá Husayn comes there right after the Letters of the Living are dispersed by the Báb. Mullá ‘Alí-Akbar becomes a believer shortly after Mulla Sádiq. In June 1845 ‘Alí-Akbar accompanied Mulla Sádiq to Shiraz where Mulla Sádiq altered the Muslim call to prayer while speaking at a Mosque in accordance with instructions from the Báb. This resulted in Mulla Sádiq, ‘Alí-Akbar, and Quddús, being violently persecuted and expelled from the city. These three became the first to suffer persecution for the Cause of Go on Persian soil.
