“All things lie prisoned within the grasp of His might”
Muhammad Big, the leader of the escort, seeing the interaction between the Báb and Mírzá Jání, and overhearing the conversation said: “I am ready to abide by whatever is the desire of the Siyyid-i-Báb. I would ask you, however, to obtain the approval of my colleague who shares with me the charge of conducting the Siyyid-i-Báb to Tihrán.”79ACT5 What ensued then was a heated altercation between Muhammad Big and the other escort leader, who was adamantly opposed to allowing the Báb to enter Káshán and stay with Mírzá Jání for the proposed three days. The Báb quietly stood by. The argument continued for a while, but slowly the other escort leader agreed. Mírzá Jání then asked the Báb, if he could defray the expense of the horsemen’s three day stay in Káshán, to which the Báb replied:
It is unnecessary. But for My will, nothing whatever could have induced them to deliver Me into your hands. All things lie prisoned within the grasp of His might. Nothing is impossible to Him. He removes every difficulty and surmounts every obstacle. 80ACT5
Muhammad Big personally escorted the Báb to near the house of Mírzá Jání, and then returned to the caravanserai outside the city, where the rest of the escort remained. That night was the eve preceding the
Naw-Rúz 81ACT5 of 1847. Mírzá Jání had planned to invite many of the friends to come and meet the Báb that evening, but the Báb had told him not to do so. Only a select few were invited to that evening’s dinner. The invitees included Siyyid Husayn of Yazd (Siyyid Husayn-i-Yazdí
).
82ACT5 He was one of the amanuenses of the Báb who had been with the Báb in Isfáhán, and whom the Báb had told, shortly before the Mu’tamid’s death, to come to Káshán and await His arrival
