69ACT5 sect, and was the only one of the escort that knew the Báb’s identity. 70ACT5

      The Báb leaves Isfáhán

Shortly before the Mu’tamid’s death, the Báb had called His amanuenses who knew of His secret stay at the Mu’tamid’s private residence. He told them that the Mu’tamid was going to pass on a particular day in the near future, and that they should go tell all the believers who were gathered in Isfáhán to “scatter throughout Káshán, Qum, and Tihrán, and await whatever Providence, in His wisdom, might choose to decree.”72ACT5
The date of the Mu’tamid’s death is recorded to be sometime in February-March 1847.73ACT5 Following the Sháh’s new order, one night, shortly after the Mu’tamid’s death, the Báb on horseback together with the mounted escort of guards was secretly sent to Tihrán. The way to Tihrán from Isfáhán passes through the city of Káshán. The mounted escort had intended to just keep to the outskirts and not enter the city of Káshán. But the Báb had other plans. It is one of the few times we see the Báb use some of His Power.
